A great mix of materials is kind of my love language.

The Plum Line Sweater combines a shiny pink yarn with a marled, fluffy mohair (knitted with three strands held together) and honestly the contrast just works. the colors make it even stronger.

It’s a quick knit and perfect if you’re past the beginner stage but not quite ready for the complicated stuff. that sweet spot is my favorite to design for.

Ah and please scroll to the last slide. the shoulder line detail is doing a lot!

I’ve had a thing for gingham patterns for quite a while now, so it’s only natural that every imaginable item has to be knitted with this pattern at some point, right?!

For the Karla mittens, I knitted the gingham pattern with seamless intarsia. The whole thing is really complex, and I’d only recommend it to truly advanced knitters. I’m planning to make a “how-to” guide for this.are you interested? Let me know in the comments!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you might already know: the Snuggle Me! Sweater combines a bunch of details that I personally love: an exciting yarn combo, pintuck details, a loose fit… The Snuggle Me Sweater brings it all together, and it’s super comfortable to wear while looking absolutely amazing?!

I really love seeing stripes that run at right angles to each other, especially when combined with a mix of materials. The Stripey Triangle Shawl features really beautiful details and, with its double-knitted edges and fringe, definitely has the potential to become a favorite. It’s knitted with Vegan Cashmere and Silky Kid from KREMKE Yarns - Modern fibers from Germany. For those who care. . It feels super soft against the skin, you can snuggle right into it, and the shawl is super light.

I knitted the pattern shown in the photo using two strands of The Merry Merino 110 by KREMKE Yarns - Modern fibers from Germany. “Pulli 3000,” from 2024.

For my master’s thesis, I explored iconic sweaters and their various applications. These are timeless classics that have now become part of everyday fashion. I selected and adapted models from maritime, sportswear, and socio-cultural contexts. The seven models shown above were created as a result. Through this process, I tested boundaries, experimented with techniques, and created silhouettes atypical for knitwear.
A written component of the thesis involved a detailed exploration of the chosen topic. To this end, I wrote about anecdotes, facts, myths, statistics, and the history of the sweater.
