Documenting the very beginnings of my new project.
As you might know i can’t waste yarn (have you seen my latest reel?), so i had to cast on several times. But now it’s flying off the needles. Best feeling. Already getting close to splitting for body and arms. Also, best feeling.

Yesterday i finally finished my second sample of the Snuggle Me Clutch. Immediately packed it with my current WIP and took the kids to the lake in the afternoon. I love that part, cutting the yarn and putting it straight to use. Knitting really is the best.

The pattern is being test knitted as we speak and will be available early July.

Details are everything to me. The small decisions that most people (not knitters !) don’t even notice are often the ones i spend the most time on. That’s just how my brain works.

The pintuck shown above is a detail on my new Snuggle Me Clutch design. My test knitters are about to finish their projects and the pattern is coming in July. You can also spot the Wiggly Scarf in the slides with its beautiful edge stitch. And for the red sweater with those collar details, a test knit call is coming to my stories next week so stay tuned so you don’t miss it!

tastes like summer ☀️

Anzeige | last spring i knitted myself a new Easy Knit Skirt using .and.penelope Bicycle yarn. held double, it makes a great match for this pattern and i can definitely recommend the combination.

i have been wearing it again a lot lately, and it feels just as good as when it first came off the needles.
