I remember the first time I sat with the artisans in Jaipur. At the embroidery frame, watching hands move faster and more precisely than I thought possible. The beauty of it was almost unsettling.
These people carry years of knowledge in their hands. They know their worth. But that worth was invisible to the rest of the world.

I built ÏMAIMA to change that. Every piece we make is a bridge between their craft and the people who will wear it.

There is something about a hand block printed fabric that a machine will never replicate.
The slight irregularity. The weight of the cotton. The way the pattern was pressed, by hand, one block at a time, in Jaipur.
