Winter remembers what the algorithm forgot: stillness...
Some days it feels like the whole world is running —
chasing perfection, chasing productivity, chasing an image that looks effortless but costs so much energy.

Social media makes it look easy: spotless homes, perfect routines, endless creativity, a constant glow.
And suddenly we feel behind… like we should be doing more, posting more, achieving more.
Like rest is something we have to earn.

But this season asks us to rest.
To slow down.
Like our ancestors once did in the deep, quiet months of winter.
I feel that old need in my bones — and yet somehow, rest feels like the hardest spell to cast.

Social media whispers “do more, post more, be more,”
while my body longs for quiet moments —
warm lights, a cup of something hot and sweet, a walk in the woods,
and the softness of being unproductive on purpose… even if just for a few moments.

So this winter, I’m learning to choose slowness,
even when it feels like swimming upstream.
To take a deep breath in the middle of the day.
To let the world rush on without me.
To remember that magic grows in stillness —
not in the endless scroll.

Winter is the witch’s season—sharp, still, and sacred.

Some new items are now listed for the Yule & Creepmas collection. And a restock of 3 on the lace bat signs. I‘m now slowing down, fulfilling all orders and then - I will rest!

This is the month when
the Hidden Ones walk,
when frost etches stars on every window,
and the night hums with stories
older than any tongue still spoken.

Gather your charms,
light your candles,
leave a little offering at the threshold—
for December belongs to the spirits of winter,
and they walk close.

Welcome, December.
Be gentle.
Be wild.
Be dark.

Die Tage werden dunkler, der erste Schnee fällt und der Wind trägt die alten Geschichten übers Land. Bald ist die Zeit des Krampus.
