YOUnique Upcycling er etableret i et samarbejde mellem psykoterapeut og kunstner Helle Maximilla fra House of Change, socialrådgiver Vibeke Munk fra Brobygning Til Arbejdsmarkedet samt Gribskov Produktionsskole. Målgruppen for produktionsskolens elever er unge mellem 16 og 25 år, som ikke har gennemført en ungdomsuddannelse og som ikke umiddelbart har forudsætninger for at påbegynde en uddannelse.
Vores fælles mål med YOUnique Upcycling er at skabe anderledes designs af høj kvalitet; primært af genbrugsmaterialer i et kreativt læringsmiljø, hvor den personlige håndholdte indsats samt den pædagogiske tilgang bidrager til den udvikling, der giver de unge muligheden for at udvikle sig og komme videre i livet. Fælles idéudvikling kombineret med værkstedsundervisning og praktisk læring udgør derfor de vigtigste grundsten i vores samarbejde med Gribskov Produktionsskole. lave vores Younique lamper med amerikanske fatninger. YOUnique Upcycling is established through a cooperation between the psychotherapist and artist, Helle Maximilla from House of Change, social worker, Vibeke Munk from Brobygning Til Arbejdsmarkedet and Gribskov School of Production. The School of Production’s target group consists of adolescents between the age of 16 and 25 who haven’t completed a post-secondary education, as well as adolescents who, from the outset, lack the prerequisites for enrolling in or completing a post-secondary education. Every youngster is unique and deserve a second chance in life, no matter what. Our common objective with YOUnique Upscaling is to create distinctive designs of superior quality and primarily through the use of recycled materials. This endeavour will take place in a creative learning environment with explicit focus on personal, social and professional development in the quest of providing the youths with the necessary means to get through the education system and in their future life. Shared ideas combined with workshop training and practical learning - blended with a firm belief in the adolescents’ resources and capabilities – constitute the imperative building blocks for Gribskov School of Production.
