Time for a goodbye🤍

After five years of creating, growing and building Oaklings, the time has come for me to hand over my little heart project to a new team of wonderful and talented people, who will take Oaklings into its next chapter.

My dream was to create timeless, beautifully crafted furniture for children made to last for generations. I’m so proud and grateful that this dream became a reality, not least through my wonderful collaboration with the incredibly talented nina_bruun

Thank you to everyone who has followed, supported and welcomed Oaklings into your homes. It has meant more than you know🤍

I leave with a full heart, knowing that Oaklings is in good hands and has many more chapters to come.

Building a brand is all about working with the right people 🤍

Ever since the very beginning of Oaklings, I’ve been working with the same photographer, Caroline Sternsdorf.

Caroline has a unique talent for making even the simplest setup look like a million through her lens.

She immediately understood our visual identity and has been a key part of shaping the Oaklings universe ever since.

When I started Oaklings in 2021, Caroline had only just begun working with interior photography. Today, she’s a well-established interior photographer, and I couldn’t be happier to have had her by my side throughout the journey.

Oaklings was founded with a simple ambition: to create beautiful, uncompromising furniture for children that can be cherished for generations.

Not as a slogan, but through exceptional quality, honest materials, and a deep appreciation for traditional craftsmanship.

From the very beginning, I knew the collection needed a designer who shared these values. I’m incredibly grateful that nina_bruun brought this vision to life. Her ability to create timeless, understated design is extraordinary, and beyond her remarkable talent, she is one of the warmest and most generous people I know.

The Saga Highchair is designed to follow your child through the first 6 years of childhood🤍

In the first years as a safe highchair and later as an open junior chair - easy to climb into without help.

The chair is designed by acclaimed designer nina_bruun in 2022. It’s crafted to be passed down through generations of children in your family.
