My role is to translate your feeling into proportion, fabric and form. To sketch, drape, fit and refine until something that didn’t exist even in your imagination begins to feel completely natural on you.

There is something incredibly special about creating a dress that was never meant for anyone else. Not adapting a design to a bride, but developing it together, from the very beginning.

Liang was pregnant when we started making her gown.

We knew from the beginning that her body would be changing, so we built the whole process around that - spacing out the fittings differently, leaving more room in the schedule than usual, keeping certain seams open longer than we normally would. Every time she came in, we worked with where she was that day.

There was something quietly moving about it. A dress growing alongside the person wearing it.

The final adjustments happened in the last week before the wedding.
