Do you also find it tricky to tell if the snowsuit fits – and if it will last all winter? 🤔❄️

You’re not alone! Many parents feel the same – which is why we’ve made a quick guide to help you easily check if your child’s snowsuit fits just right 👏🏼

In the video, we go through everything from freedom of movement to growing room – so you can be sure your child is ready for winter play and cold days ☃️

Here are our “5 quick checks” for the perfect fit:

1️⃣ Sleeves & legs – how long?
The cuff should sit at the wrist (base of the thumb), not cover the fingers completely. The leg cuff should fall over the boot shaft without dragging and stay in place when your child squats.

2️⃣ Movement – can your child play freely?
Do the hug, stretch, and squat test: arms across chest, arms overhead, deep squat. No pulling across the back or shoulders, and no bare wrists or ankles when moving.

3️⃣ Crotch & leg length – technical fit:
The crotch shouldn’t lift when walking or squatting, but not hang too low either. Adjust foot straps so cuffs sit neatly above the boots without pinching.

4️⃣ Try with realistic layers + zip/hood:
Test over the layers your child will actually wear (base + fleece/wool). The zip should glide smoothly, and your child should be able to turn their head easily with the hood on.

5️⃣ Don’t forget growing room:
There should be space for a warm layer without losing shape. Rule of thumb: a fist’s width between the body and crotch, plus 6–8 cm extra length.
