This last year has been something of a different experience, when it comes to crafting. Last year we closed our old workshop, moved into a house, built a large shed to act as our new workshop, and then this little gold nugget of love arrived.

And there is little room for personal crafting, between organizing Krigslive for the third year in a row (and thankfully for the last time for now), adjusting to the baby-parent-life and renovating a house.... But! We did find the time to create a most adorable outfit for our son Karl-Magnus, and do some minor repairs on our own loot.

Now we are just looking forward to actually playing, instead of preparing 😁 Hope to see you soon, at Krigslive!

How to turn Epic Armoury bucklers intro custom made wooden shields 😁

We only used the hand grip from the EA bucklers. The rest is just cheap foam, a bit of soft leather, duct tape, paint, fabric and a s**t ton of glue.

Another day and more loot getting done ❤️ The artwork is all Carinas design.

We got a friend, Jonas Klemmesen to laser carve the leather, and then we stamped and painted it afterwards (and as always, lacquer as a finisher, to protect the painting).

The metal is just done with a primer, and normal acrylic paint afterwards. To give the metal a rusty look, we give it lacquer and brown acrylic powder mixed with dirt afterwards. It is a quite simple process, giving your metal a good Rusty look, without the hazzle of actually having to rust it 😁

Hello there fellow nerds!

Two days ago, I officially tied the knots with my now wife Carina. For the last two years, she has been an integral part of my LARP-life - and being an amazing craftsman herself, we have intertwined our crafting-life as well. Well, two days ago, she officially took my name, and we said yes to share everything together... As such, it is only appropriate, that this site is shared as well.

Therefore, i have just sent a request to Facebook, to change the name of my site to "The Feilbergs Workshop", making it co-owned family project ❤️

The name will change at some point in the near future, and Carina will most likely give the entire site an visual overhaul.

For our next big project: we are starting an new undead sappers team for Conquest of Mythodea.. and it will hopefully be a lot of creative crafting fun!
