It was a pleasure to be invited at the Egyptian residence in Washington DC, by Mrs. Hala Youssef, spouse of the ambassador of Egypt, to talk about the Egyptian tally heritage, its journey from a traditional costume to an iconic contemporary outfit.

The talk was organized by Dr. Nirmeen Sabry, cultural and educational counselor at Washington DC.

Dr. Hala F**a, founder of Tallyna, met distinguished members of the Women Association and the Egyptian community in DC, answering their questions about tally embroidery.
