GRAVA • 080 Barcelona Fashion Week 2026
One of the elements we love exploring is the fusion of fashion, robotics, and technology to create characters that exist somewhere between reality and imagination.
For GRAVA, we envisioned a pair of floating robotic arms extending from the body, moving in rhythm with the music as if gravity itself had been suspended.
Designed together with our talented friend , these kinetic sculptures were finished with mirrored surfaces that captured the runway lights and reflected the audience back at themselves. In every photograph and every video, the spectators became part of the installation—transforming the runway into a dialogue between the garment, the machine, and the viewer.
Bringing this idea to life required experimentation, from designing and 3D-printing custom components to engineering the hidden mechanisms that allowed the robotic arms to move seamlessly with the models. It was a process where craftsmanship met innovation, proving that technology can become a poetic tool for storytelling.
Thank you, Mariana, for helping us transform an idea into a moving fantasy. Together, we showed that technology can become a powerful tool for storytelling, creating garments that don’t just exist—they perform.
