The World Cup reminded me of something I’d forgotten:
Soccer was my first design school.

I played because I loved the game. But it was never just about the 90 minutes on the pitch. It was everything around it. The kits. The culture. The feeling of arriving at practice in an outfit that felt like you.

Long before Rubisnacks, I was mixing jerseys with clothes from my closet, hunting for unique soccer kits, and convincing myself that my black-and-yellow bumblebee socks made me play better. Soccer was where my love for fashion came alive.

This shoot is a little love letter to that part of my life, and to the idea that fashion and sport don’t compete with each other. They reinforce each other. Make each other more fun.
You should never have to pause who you are to play the sports you love.
