“Drop Acid Not Bombs” emerged from the counterculture and anti-war movements of the late 1960s — a time when music, graphic culture and protest became deeply connected.

In November 1969, photographer Robert Altman captured an anti-war demonstration in language of the hippie generation.

Years later, while digging through books and archives of vintage graphics, iconic T-shirts, music and counterculture, we came across the message again.

We first interpreted DROP ACID NOT BOMBS three years ago. Today, we felt it was time to bring it back.

Same message. New graphic. Still relevant.

For us, the joke is still there — but so is the message behind it.
