Mundaka was founded by southern-Spanish designer Belén Vidal in 2014, after years working in fashion ateliers in Madrid and Paris, having shown an early interest in pattern cuts and the revival of traditional shapes. Mundaka was created with the philosophy that getting dressed is a primitive behavior; it isn’t just an act of covering our bodies, but an elemental act of self-expression. All of our

garments are made in Spain, with great attention to construction and durability, and pursuing the idea of value being inherent in the process of creation as much as in the piece itself.
