House of Compulsion is a Romanian brand that began as a project to reinvent an all-time favourite clothing item: the biker jacket. The biker jacket is one of the most iconic pieces of clothing and this is what we are trying to honour here at HOC. It has shaped decades of fashion followers’ lives as a statement piece that instantly transforms any look. Our mission is to take the biker jacket from a
clothing item that transforms or completes a look to a clothing item that makes the look. HOC deconstructs and reinterprets the classic biker jacket by playing with leather, textures, shapes and colour in unexpected ways. We do that in a sustainable way, not succumbing to the demands of ‘fast fashion’ but by not compromising our vision and so, all HOC items are one of a kind and handmade in our studio in Transylvania. Her mission is to respond to a need for original, loud and bright, statement biker jackets. House of Compulsion wants to become a home for those who have worn out their classic black leather jackets and are looking for something else. A home for those who don’t give a damn, who are ready to put on a bold jacket and just seize the day!
