Built for the next generation — not at its expense. 🌱

Plasticutz was born from the essence of hip-hop: turning what you have into something new, finding value where others see waste, and using creativity to speak up against injustice.

Plastic pollution is one of the most difficult battles our generation has left to those who come next. Recycling alone will not solve it. ♻️

We need to stop producing and buying so much disposable rubbish, and start demanding objects designed to last, be maintained and be repaired.

Our connection with art and graffiti is part of that response. 🎨

Every Plasticutz record is made individually. Colours, fragments and imperfections come together differently each time, turning our own waste into a unique, playable piece. 💿

These records will not change the world by themselves. But they can help make the problem visible and ask the uncomfortable question we keep avoiding:

Why are we still making so many things to be thrown away?

Make less waste.

Plasticutz is officially out in the streets. ♻️💿

What a weekend at the DMC Iberia Open in Vigo.

After months of developing, testing and manufacturing these records, Plasticutz finally left the workshop and landed in the hands of the turntablism community.

And the response was incredible.

So many conversations, ideas, scratches and, most importantly, amazing feedback from DJs I deeply respect.

After 12 years away from the stage, coming back in my hometown — playing a DMC with records made from recycled plastic — made the whole experience even more special.

Huge thanks to , and Stefanie for the opportunity and for making me feel so welcome.

And massive love to everyone who came over, asked about the project, shared feedback or simply showed some support.

This is only the beginning.

12 years later, everything comes full circle.

Plasticutz is finally seeing the light as I revisit my last DMC set — the routine I performed the last time I competed and stepped onto a stage.

I didn’t make it through to this year’s Open. The level was incredibly high, so congratulations to everyone who qualified. I’m really looking forward to seeing the championship at .

See you in Vigo. I’ll bring a few Plasticutz records so some of you can finally see and feel the project in person.

Plasticutz empieza a ver la luz mientras recupero mi último set de DMC: la rutina con la que competí y subí por última vez a un escenario.

Este año no conseguí clasificarme para la Open de . El nivel fue altísimo, así que enhorabuena a todos los clasificados. Tengo muchísimas ganas de ver el campeonato en .
