It’s boiling hot here in Ibiza and we’re off out to watch the football! My go to outfits in this heat tends to be a bikini top and linen coord. Particularly love the English rose linen Marcia shirt and Pixie shorts, 100% linen but a lighter weight.

And I don’t just mean the way they look but I got really fed up of Highstreet clothing feeling like cheap material and poor sewing.

And now I get to design and make my own clothing that I love on a deeper level. I honestly wear them on repeat, my case is packed and 80% are Freya Lillie pieces I’ve worn on repeat…because I love them so much.

This dress will last you 3 Summers and we can prove it!

We took one girls linen dress to our Ibiza shoot, one model was a toddler size and the other aged 7.

Because we designed the Aria dress to flow from top to bottom, the Aria dress looked like a beautiful midi dress on Alba and for Myla more of a mini dress which she loved.

I did a little something…

In my 40’s I’ve been looking for the right creative outlet. Tried watercolour painting which I loved. I’m about to learn to sew (I know crazy right, own a fashion brand can’t turn on a machine!) but I have literally just started my own substack page.

Rather than for business it’s more personal. A place I can enjoy creating content and not feel like I’m bashing my head against a brick wall getting the algorithm to like me!

I want to write blogs like we’re back in 2010. From behind the scenes running a business to perimenopause, styling, training for a marathon and life in my 40’s.

And since I have literally just started it and wrote my first blog post (sorry article!) I’d love it if you could subscribe to my substack. It’s free and I’ve popped the link in my stories.
