💕 My Baby Loves To Hold While Breastfeeding… And Honestly, I Love It Too. 🤱🥹
There’s something so incredibly sweet about the little things babies do while breastfeeding. Sometimes my baby reaches up with those tiny hands and wants to hold onto me while nursing. 🥰
Maybe it’s my finger, my shirt, my hand, or simply my skin. Sometimes those little hands gently rest on my chest, and other times they seem to be searching for something to grab and hold onto.
And I just sit there thinking… *How can something so small make my heart feel so full?* ❤️
Breastfeeding isn't always easy. There can be tired days, long nights, sore moments, cluster feeding, and times when Mom wonders if she's doing enough. But then there are these quiet little moments when your baby looks completely peaceful, cuddled close, drinking milk and holding onto you like you're their whole world. 🥹💕
Those tiny fingers aren't just grabbing something.
They're connecting.
They're learning comfort.
They're feeling safe.
They're saying, in their own little baby way, “Mommy, I want to be close to you.” 🤍
And let's be honest… sometimes those little hands can be funny too! 😂 They may pinch, pull, scratch, push your face, play with your hair, or somehow find the most sensitive spot possible while you're trying to nurse peacefully! 😅
But one day, we know those tiny hands won't be so tiny anymore.
One day, they won't need to hold onto us this way.
So for now, I'm trying to slow down and enjoy it.
The sleepy eyes.
The little noises.
The warm cuddles.
The tiny fingers wrapped around mine.
The peaceful moments when the rest of the world disappears and it's just me and my baby. 🤱❤️
To every breastfeeding mom reading this: if your baby loves holding onto you while nursing, know that you're not alone. These little habits are one of the beautiful, ordinary parts of motherhood that we may miss so much when they're gone.
Those tiny hands won't stay tiny forever. So hold them close while you can. 🥹💕
