Founded by Ellie in 2016 after graduating for Brighton University, Squint strives to create concept based functional clothing. The brand focuses on play, naivety of shape, colour and textile manipulation.

Tied the knot! Officially glued to Kyle’s side 7/8/26, 15 years after we met in the July of 2011. We kept it low key, no guests just us, but also totally extra having our ceremony on the edge of a cliff in St Abbs Heads. A location Kyle suggested, that had been somewhere my late mum had taken us to and loved a lot. Enjoy a day in my studio with me! I’ve hesitated to make ‘day in my life’ videos because I work quite unconventional hours and in a particular way that can be quite slow but making this was really fun so I think I’m going to make it part of my practice. Hopefully I can keep it up!

Back in October 2024, at my collection photoshoot, my gorgeous photographer Zoe excitedly wished someone would wear the Meadow Dress for their wedding and how perfect it would be. Well Jordan Hayns and owlwyn made that premonition come true and even more gorgeous than I could have imagined 💕 how incredibly special it is to be included at such an important event. Things I learned in Sydney :
1. I still squeal like Carrie when she sees the Eiffel Tower when I see the Opera house

2. Sydney’s inner city op shops pop off

3. Always check your bra before forcing everyone at a gallery opening to look for your lost earring (and retracing an entire days walking)

4. Never skip the queue at Emperors Puff (or try to guilt trip someone into buying yours cos you can’t be arsed queuing, everyone’s equal in the emperors puff queue!)

5. Always hit folk with the fact ‘did you know the steel for the Sydney harbour bridge is from Middlesborough’

Our One-of-a-kind beaded accessories are here! I’ve been an obsessive bead collector since I was a child and I’ve been slowly bringing it into my practice for the last few years. Last month I had a little dramatic fainting episode which left me unable to sew…which naturally meant beading was the only answer! I am so proud of these pieces and they gave me so much joy to make. I hope you like them too so I can make more! Just a reminder these are all one of one and cannot be replicated, the beauty of vintage and thrifted materials!
