Sarongs have been travelling with me for almost my whole adult life.

India, Goa, Bali, Thailand, Ibiza… there was always one somewhere in my bag.

I remember those long travelling days when life felt simpler. A sarong was a skirt in the morning, a beach towel in the afternoon, something to cover my shoulders in a temple, and sometimes even a little blanket on a night train.

Maybe that is why I still love them so much.

They remind me of freedom.

Of travelling light.
Bare feet.
Salty hair.
Not needing very much.

And all these years later, I’m still choosing the prints in India and bringing them home to Ibiza.

When we grow together 🤍

Aurobelle has never really been only about clothes.

It is about the women who wear them. Women who come back year after year, who take our dresses on journeys, to beaches, dinners, everyday mornings and beautiful new chapters of life.

And as the years pass, we grow together.
We change. We soften. We become more ourselves.

I love creating clothes for the woman we are today — not trying to look younger, but feeling beautiful, free and comfortable in our own skin.

Getting older, but never boring. 🌸

Years between these two photographs.
Different faces, a few more lines, a lot more stories — but the same women, the same colours, the same love for beauty and freedom.

Who decided that getting older means becoming quieter, more sensible, more invisible?

Not us.

We still wear flowers in our hair.
We still love colour.
We still dress for ourselves.
And perhaps we know ourselves a little better now.

60 is the new 40 — only with more stories, more confidence and much less need for anyone’s approval.

Growing older is a privilege.
Growing boring is optional. 💙🌺

Saturday mornings at San Jordi

Almost every Saturday, when I have the time, I love going to the flea market in San Jordi.

I never really know what I’m looking for. That’s part of the pleasure. An old basket, a piece of jewellery, some beautiful fabric, or simply a coffee and a little people watching.

And this is exactly what I like to wear there.

My colourful patchwork dress — loose, light and wonderfully easy. Made from different hand block printed cottons, every panel has its own colour and character. Nothing matches perfectly, and that’s exactly why I love it.

I put on my sandals, grab a basket and go.

For me, Ibiza style has never been about dressing up. It’s about wearing something that makes you feel free, comfortable and a little bit different.

Feather-light cashmere, with a story 🤍

Last November, I found myself in Kathmandu, on my way to a month-long Buddhist meditation retreat.

I wanted to slow down. To be quiet. To step away from the noise for a while.

And somewhere in those days in Nepal, I discovered a tiny workshop where beautiful cashmere shawls are still woven by hand, slowly, one by one.

I fell in love with how incredibly light they were — almost weightless against the skin, yet warm and soft. No big production, no machines turning out thousands of pieces. Just hands, time and an old craft.

So I decided to make a very small Aurobelle collection with them.

Feather-light handwoven cashmere in quiet, earthy colours — pieces to wrap around you on cool Ibiza evenings, on a plane, while travelling, meditating, or simply sitting somewhere watching the world go by.

Sometimes the things I create begin with a plan.

These began with a journey. 🤍

Kathmandu → Ibiza. Made slowly. Made with soul.

There are moments in life when we don’t know where we’re going.

One door has quietly closed…
and the next one hasn’t opened yet.

That space in between can feel uncertain.

But I’ve come to believe it’s also where the deepest transformation happens.

This year has been one of those seasons for me.
Letting go.
Simplifying.
Trusting what I cannot yet see.

The beautiful textiles I bring back from Jaipur remind me of this. Every piece begins as threads that seem to have no direction. Slowly, patiently, skilled hands weave them into something beautiful.

Perhaps our lives are the same.

To all the wonderful women who wear Aurobelle—thank you for walking this journey with me. Thank you for supporting slow craftsmanship, the artisans in Jaipur, and a dream that has been woven with love for more than two decades.

If you’re standing between two doors today, don’t rush.

Some of the most beautiful chapters begin in the quiet space between endings and beginnings.
