Versailles RDA - The Soul

You guys know we put everything we have into this game.

We keep moving forward, no matter how tough things get in the voop world. I could say we do it for you, but we also do it for ourselves. We make what we would like to own, and I think thats the key.

I never made a bridge because I dont enjoy AIOs. Simple. It just happens that you guys and us share a similar taste. Thats why Diplomat worked. Thats why a 20mm atty with a matchy mech mod went sold out in 30 minutes.

And while Im very picky with RDAs, and most of them annoy me for one reason or another, Im enjoying this one like crazy.

Im genuinely looking forward to you trying Versailles and hearing your feedback. It actually pi**es me off that we cant release it today 🤣

I had a lot of fun testing builds, air disks, drips and mixing cap materials to give it that extra attitude. I miss when forums were a place to share info, learn, and help other fellow voopers.

I think Versailles might bring back a bit of that feeling: sharing, discovering, testing, comparing. The good old forum spirit.

Versailles RDA - Changing the air disks

One of the main ideas behind Versailles RDA is the air disk system. There is no classic airflow ring here. We had this idea since the very beggining when we start designing it. And we made multiple changes until we find the perfect way to make them.

The top cap is threaded, and the air disk sits inside the atomizer as a separate part. To change the airflow, you simply unscrew the top cap, push the disk out from below, install another one (there are two notches so the position is properly aligned), and screw the cap back again. Simple, isnt it?

But the disk is not only there to open or close the airflow 😄 It also changes the internal chamber width, so the evaporation space is matched to the draw and the build you are using.

Another important thing: when the disk is installed, it separates the evaporation chamber from the liquid well area. So when you squonk, the liquid does not go straight to the outside airflow slots.

First it reaches the coil area. Then, to escape outside, it would need to pass through the honeycomb airflow section, travel through the disk structure, and finally find its way out through the external slots. In normal use, that is practically impossible. Its as clean as it gets.

I pushed the bottle to almost make the eliquid flood over the drip 💧and still no leaks from the airflow slots. This means you can squonk with confidence. The liquid goes where it should go first: to the coil

Thats why we made curved posts. They give you more room for the air to flow under the coils, while keep the pools separated from the evaporation chamber.
