PrettyOldStuff

PrettyOldStuff I have recently started making new objects from old ones. Some examples: earrings holders, bookmarks, coasters, frames, bags, and so on.

OK, I have to admit it: the name is a horrible pun on the fact that I like old things, and that they tend to be indeed quite old, but not being a native English speaker I'm actually almost proud of it :D You can find them here, on Google+, and on my website if you want to buy them. As they are made out of scraps, they won't be perfect of course, but on the other hand each of them will be unique! :

)

There won't probably be any tutorials, because when I'm putting things together I don't really want to stop to take pictures, but if you want to know how to do something yourself just mail or message me. R.O.B. is now fully functional! :D
Audio in Italian only for the moment, but basically I'm just saying that there was a broken gear that was fixed with glue.

R.O.B., Gyromite, and all the cool Nintendo stuff laying around kindly provided by Bottaro. Old TV and technical assistance provided by me.

Actually, I use the same kind of bag when I go around flea markets or vinyl fairs. I find it practical, and I like its clean design. And yes, the vinyls fit perfectly inside, but of course you can use it to carry groceries around, avoiding plastic bags (also, this is much more resistant than a plastic bag, so you can put a heavier weight inside). The back is completely white, except for the address of my blog, which is written in black on a side (but it's really small).

Bags are quite easy to customise, so if you want it in a different colour or with a different drawing/writing just ask, I can make more of this same size, and I have even a smaller one which I haven't painted yet. The vinyl shape comes from a stencil I had made in advance, so I can make it exactly the same on another bag (I can also invert the colours if you wish, but I tried and it doesn't look nice, so I wouldn't recommend you to paint the vinyl black, even though that's the way it is in real life).

Materials: I bought the bag at a shop because I forgot my own one at home and I don't like using plastic ones, there is nothing else than that.

Size: approx. 35x35 cm excluding handles

Price: 4 €
