Founded by Riina Salmi, Burlesque Tsunami is a Finnish fashion brand that constantly seeks new ways to create the most positive impact on the structures of our society and environment. Brand launched its new collection that combines fashion design and Fusion Learning Method, a novel method of learning that combines the best practices of school and work life in order to inspire students and give them ideas about their own future career and goals and it gives great freedom and space for creativity for everyone involved, including students from local elementary school and universities in Finland as well as young designers and artists inspiring to co-create and collaborate. The entire collection, consisting of clothing, shoes and accessories, is made out of 100% recycled materials.
Fashion Show was funded by the Education Division of City of Helsinki in support of the development of Fusion Learning Method programme.
R3turn Of The Unicorns -Burlesque Tsunami collection was premiered in Hesinki Fashion Week on the 21st of July in Wanha Satama.
