We are doing this for the very first time: having a sale!
Our mission has been offering sustainable high quality clothes with affordable prices and supporting children education with 5 % of the margin. Honestly, we aren’t that huge Black Friday fans because of its consuming ethos. Buuuut there is a great opportunity to have a brighter Black Friday by supporting sustainable brands. 🙌🏻

You might have been thinking what’s going on because we don’t post as usual. This is because our families have grown and the daily basis is lovely hectic at the moment. That’s why we have decided to put iluut for a standby mode for a while.
We’re so grateful for all of your love and support. We donated 5 % of each product’s margin to build a school and the school is now built in Ghana! It’s amazing! 🙌🏻
Even if we haven’t been posting, we have gained many new followers and each month we’ve been happy to post new orders. It shows that more and more people are willing to change their consuming habits and the future of fashion will be more ethical and ecological. We couldn’t be happier that we’ve had a chance to be part of this important fashion revolution.
We searched for the right sewing partner for 1,5 years and we were super happy with the hight quality atelier run by seven seamstresses in Tarto. It has been a joy to post your high quality orders sewn by them. Unfortunately the atelier shut their doors because the business wasn’t flying as well as hoped. In order to continue iluut we’d need to find as reliable sewing partner as we had, to find a person responsible of marketing communication and a senior investor. For now we’ll focus on our personal lifes but let’s see if one day iluut will be back even greater than before. Once again: a huge thank you for following us, all the great feedback and all of your purchases.
And last but not least. We still have a small inventory left that we’ll sell out. So stay tuned, soon you’ll have a great change to buy our current products and production samples. 😘

iluut has joined to donate 5 % of each product’s marging to build a school and now THE SCHOOL HAS BEEN BUILT IN GHANA! Yes, you read that right! We couldn’t be happier and prouder of the hard work we put into this project together with all the friends that donated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support. The smiles of the kids sitting at school is just the best thing we could have asked for. .

How important is it to you to know who made your clothes? Honestly, does it affect into your purchasing decissions?
From the very beginning we have invested in high quality. It was actually a funny story how our founder Elina finally found the atelier in Tarto. She was meeting some potential companies but none of them felt excatly right. Together we had already scheduled our first campaign but we didn’t have seamstresses yet! 😅 Elina got a tip of the super talented pattern cutter from a business contact and asked her if she would know a trust-worthy atelier. ”Actually I own one because I felt a lack of great quality in the market”, she replied. And the rest is history. 😁 All of our clothes are sewn in the atelier of supertalented women.👌🏻 Wish you a great sustainable day! 🌱
