Eilen vietin tovin myymälässämme kaustislaisen pariskunnan kanssa. He olivat päiväseltään käymässä Raahessa ja odottelivat Langin Kauppahuoneen kahvilan ruuhkan purkautumista sateen ropistessa ulkona.

Ysterday I spent some time in our shop with a couple from Kaustinen. They were visiting Raahe for the day and were waiting for the rush at the Langin Kauppahuone café to subside while the rain pattered outside.
I told them about Utua and its origins, and I have rarely met such interested listeners. Piia’s story, transitioning from a rescue services chief to a handbag designer, always stirs emotions, and the journey of the bags themselves, from initial idea to resting on a customer’s shoulder, sparks genuine interest.
For me as a content creator, encounters like this are especially valuable. I get to see firsthand how our company’s history, combined with the tactile experience of touching, smelling, and admiring the quality of our leather goods, leaves a positive impression.
Even though no sale was made this time, we were all left with a good feeling. The Utua bag was no longer just a product; it had become a story.
