O MAR – A Cross-Border Upcycling Art Collection
Sirenska Suknja (Mermaid Skirt) is one of the wearable artworks I created during the "What Do You Sea" residency, organized in collaboration with , hosted by Fantazam Gallery.
What Do You Sea is an independent, self-funded project. Together, Sabrina and I were invited to create, produce and share upcycling art. In just three weeks, I created more than six fashion art pieces, while we also curated an exhibition, led workshops, and produced the fashion show.
This piece was created using recovered vintage textiles generously provided by the hosts, discarded fishing nets, and other upcycled materials collected in Stari Grad, Hvar.
