Each one was carefully cut, stitched, and finished by hand in my Bordeaux studio.

Sewing the flap of a custom-made bag. I outlined the corners with a fine piping detail—I love how it quietly sharpens the silhouette.
Lately I've been listening to Notes on the Synthesis of Form by Christopher Alexander while I work. Although the book is primarily about architecture and industrial design, I think its ideas extend far beyond those fields. Rather than treating design as a purely intuitive process, Alexander explores how complex design challenges can be understood, analyzed, and resolved through a coherent system of relationships.
It's one of those books that changes the way you look at design, regardless of your discipline.

Spent a day in Biarritz, and it was exactly what I needed.

I've realized that these quiet seaside towns are my favorite kind of destination. Calm, natural, effortlessly beautiful—high quality without trying to prove it.

Everyone seemed genuinely relaxed, the little boutiques were full of charm, and the whole place had an understated elegance.

I'd wanted to visit Biarritz for a long time, and I'm so glad I finally did.

Lately: Balzac.
There's something comforting about making objects slowly while listening to stories that have survived for centuries.

I wanted to play around with AI a bit on a finished bag. We did a watercolor sketch and a fashion shoot in Bordeaux. There are some imperfections in the work of ai, still, it was somewhat illuminating for the story I wanted to tell.
