'Fireworks' is a large, sustainable art yarn skein with 104 yards made from upcycled, vintage, and reclaimed sweater yarn in a variety of yarns in 2 yard lengths.

These eco yarn samplers are fantastic for weaving, crochet, jewellery, knitting, abstract embroidery, felting, fibre craft projects, and for building up your sustainable materials collection.

🧶 Textile designs focusing on using only one yarn and one textile - inspired by from Jayne No Rules Textile Society Membership and Online Courses

♻️ These samplers are a and it's fun working with limited amounts of materials. This linen/metallic fabric is from a skirt, and the yarn is reclaimed from a scarf.

Hope to have these finished and up for sale in the next month!

Making some collages today. It’s really hard to cut up this beautiful fabric that I’ve hand dyed and pulled apart from clothing. ✂️ But, it must be done!

Some gorgeous hand-woven linen and vintage cotton materials that I found in Italy. I look forward to naturally dyeing them with the eucalyptus and olive leaves that I collected on our travels there. x

🌿 Sandstone (7) is a slow stitch fabric pack with a colour palette of brown, peach, cream, apricot, and orange. It has a variety of patterns and textures in an assortment of silk, cotton, linen, and wool with an organic cotton yarn, and a reclaimed cotton yarn.

♻️ All of these textiles are sourced from secondhand clothing, vintage textiles, and salvaged upholstery fabrics.

🌸 These textiles are dyed with foraged plants, and sustainably sourced natural dye supplies from in my new home in France, and in my old home in Seattle.

Paint patina has such fantastic colours and textures! The beige is made much more interesting with the touches of warm brown, green, ash, ecru, and rust.

🏔 We were full time for 7 years in the US, and we loved the San Juan Islands in Washington State. We spent years pet-sitting on the various islands and returning to look after our favourite pets, as well as catching up with our lovely home-owners who became our friends.

🌅 We took this photo from the Deception Pass Bridge between Fidalgo and Whidbey Islands. Missing those pine trees, mountains, and ocean views from the wonderful 🌲❤️
