On July 12th, 2026, Erwan Jauffroy set off from Beachy Head lighthouse, England, to cross the 🏴 Channel.
Ahead of him: one of the most hostile seas on earth, with violent currents and relentless cargo traffic.
No engine.
No sail.
Just his arms, his legs, and the energy of the waves.
A few hours later, he reached Cherbourg, becoming the first person in the world to achieve such a feat.
We followed this crossing closely, and we’re proud to have been part of it.

Of preparation, plus a month and a half spent tracking weather models from the English coast to find the perfect window with his forecasting team: Charles Caudrelier, Éric Peron and Thomas Rouxel.

🇫🇷 Le 12 juillet 2026, Erwan Jauffroy s’élance du phare de Beachy Head, en Angleterre, pour traverser la Manche 🏴 .
Devant lui, une des mers les plus hostiles au monde, avec ses courants surpuissants et son trafic incessant de cargos. 🌊
Aucun moteur.
Aucune voile.
Juste ses bras, ses jambes, et l’énergie des vagues.
Quelques heures plus t**d, il arrive à Cherbourg, devenant ainsi le premier homme au monde à réussir un tel exploit.
On a suivi cette traversée de près, et on est fiers de l’avoir accompagnée.
