Taking the Leading Edge⚡

Founded, and manufactured, on the West Coast of Canada, ALUULA was born to create a lighter, stiffer and stronger fabric for leading edge fabric in windsports.

But what makes ALUULA different? Where did the idea come from? What gave it the leading edge in windsports?

We just received our latest kite, co-designed with Bryan van Ostheim! 🪁
📏 Size: 30m²
🪡 Material: The airframe is made with Aluula™, making the kite 30% lighter while also stiffer.

Why does this matter?

🏁 Lighter for the start ➡️ A lighter kite helps Benoit generate more power by moving it faster, getting the boat to plane faster.

🚀 Stiffer for the run ➡️ Once planing, Aluula™ and 14 battens keep the kite’s shape stable, minimizing drag for top performance.

We can’t wait to see it in action! 😍
