Inside the world of KARL LAGERFELD Residences | Bosque Real.

Monumental proportions, contrasting materials and a considered dialogue between light and shadow bring the Maison’s design language into a distinctly Mexican setting. A 10 metre stainless-steel library, inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s lifelong love of books, forms the heart of the lobby, while travertine, basalt, tezontle and Tzalam wood connect the interiors to their surroundings.

Across the residences and shared spaces, every detail brings together Karl Lagerfeld’s personal references with a contemporary approach to living.

Last week in Mexico City.

KARL LAGERFELD unveiled KARL LAGERFELD Residences | Bosque Real during an immersive event celebrating the Maison’s first residential project in Latin America.

Through a series of spaces inspired by Karl Lagerfeld’s creative world and the design of the residences, guests discovered the vision behind the 73-home project and its dialogue between the Maison’s distinctive design codes and its Mexican setting.

A first glimpse at the project, and a toast to what’s to come.

As Creative Director of Interiors at KARL LAGERFELD, Caroline Lebar shares the vision behind the Maison’s first residential project in Latin America. From the library and shared spaces to the dialogue between KARL LAGERFELD’s design DNA and Mexican materials, she explores how the project brings the two worlds together.

Set within Bosque Real, the residences translate the Maison’s distinctive point of view into a new setting, shaped by its landscape, culture and approach to contemporary living.
