Первая домашка сдана ! Ура ! После нескольких бессонных ночей, презентация отправлена, проверена и я могу поделиться своими результатами.  Первый блок курса посвящен “стилю”, мы научились распознавать и сочетать разные стили. И в домашней работе надо показать как мы эти знания освоили. “создайте 2 сета, комбинируя вещи разных стилей и 3 сета в понравившихся вам стилях”  Было очень интересно и сложно, так как мне столько вещей приглянулись.  Я поняла, что для того, чтобы быть хорошим стилистом, профессионалам, нужно знать историю вещей.  откуда и как образовался определенный тренд/ идея, как он был придуман ? Какими событиями вдохновлен ?

Мне пришел в голову случай, который навел меня на мысль о том, что одежда нужна не только для того, чтобы приукрасить фигуру, придать уверенности себе, а также через одежду мы передаем то, о чем мы думаем, о чем мы переживаем, что нас волнует. Мессадж, которые будут “читать” наши пра- пра- пра -правнуки. Эко- движение, например, необходимость в наше время.  Буду ждать ваших комментариев и если вам интересно расскажу, что за история.  Всем чудесного дня !  ________  The first homework done ✅ after haven spent few sleepless nights I am happy to share my results.

The first chapter is dedicated to “introduction to fashion: style”, we have learnt to identify and mix different styles 😍. We were asked to compose 3 looks choosing one style and 2 looks mixing clothes from different styles.

It was fun and challenging.

I’ve understood that in order to be a good “styliste” you need to learn a lot about clothes, why this particular trend exists ? what it was inspired by ?

I recall not so long ago a situation when I have realized that clothes are made not only to flatter your body, but to capture the moment, our concerns, thoughts. The message, that our future generations will read.

Уже довольно долго я работала над вторым блоком онлайн обучения и я рада поделиться с вами тем, что я наконец его закончила и мою домашку приняли. Естььььь. Получив одобрение, со стороны куратора, я начинаю новую главу по подбору фасонов одежды.

Покорпела я над вторым блоком, пытаясь разобраться в цветовой тональности и цвете кожи. Стараюсь строго к себе не относиться, я еще учусь.

Моя наилюбимейшая часть - составление коллажей, чтобы на практике применять приобретенные знания.

Это напомнило мне “зеленую” мебя, когда я еще в школе вместо домашки засиживалась за компьютером, составляя коллажи одежды. Ну, с того времени ничего не изменилось, получая огромное удовольствие от процесса, вместо 8 я наколдовала целых 14 образов.. Упс…

 It has been quite some time since I have worked on my second home work for Restyle stydio, but I am happy to announce that the second block has finally been passed and my work had been accepted. Wouhuuu…. Got some positives feedbacks and I’m ready to start a new chapter.

My absolute favorite is the part when you are asked to create collages putting into practice knowledge acquired during the classes.

It reminds me of a minnie me who instead of doing her homework was secretly spending hours designing collages of clothing. Not much has changed since, getting a pure satisfaction over the process, I have developed 15, instead of 8 asked outfits.

How to mix and match prints ?

Prints are definitely one of the “must have” pieces of this and the next season. During this year fashion week we took a sneak peak at the 2020 spring- summer collection and realized that prints are still on the GO next year.

But how should we match the printed combinations? What if we are tired to play it safe ? Here are some tips for you to enjoy the game and have more fun.

Pajama style
Always a good solution, don’t know how to match prints, go for one print style combination. Sophisticated and cosy.

Play with proportion !
When you want to wear same style prints, just choose different size scales. For example small and large stripes, checks, florals…

Similar color
Playing dangerous ? Easy when you know the rules, put together different style prints with the same color scheme. More provocative, but stylish option.

Use achromatic colors to look less festive. Neutralize an outfit using black/white/gray color palette.
Monochrome, also a good idea. What’s your favorite way of mixing prints ?

“Capricieuse” 
2 meters of pure silk had cost me over 30 euros, but I hasn’t hesitated much because of this sweet shade of a caramel candy. But i can tell you It was a real struggle : tricky to cut, slippy, a maddening tendency to fray, hard to iron, easy to get wrinkles and stains … I have even burnt a small piece of the fabric ! Oops!
After I had almost ruined my fuchsia silk dress, I haven’t touched the project for over a month. What doesn’t kill you make you stronger. That’s why 1 month and a week later, I was walking with my head head high wearing this caramel blouse.

Conclusion: Silk is definitely going to challenge your skills, abilities and nerves. There are some tips to note when you work with a light weight fabric:
Needles - choose a size 70 (perfect fit), or a size 80.
 Pins - it’s an useful tip to use a super fine pins when working with light weight fabric, as they don’t snag or leave marks as others.
Don’t forget to prewash the fabric and choose your iron settings(a medium heat setting and dry iron silk on the wrong side of the fabric ) wisely. Otherwise you can set your project on fiiiiiiireee !

🇬🇧Part V: Fitting

After all the measurements had been taken, unnecessary pieces were removed, a new A-silhouette skirt and t-shirt satin sleeves were made...it was time for a fitting.

The #1 fitting was exciting.
Because as at the thrift shop where the dress was bought, there are no fitting rooms we had no idea how the dress would look on the body and if we would love it..eventually. That’s was the case, the dress looked beautiful on a hanger but when she tried it on, it was too long, too “flashy” and not what we were looking for.
That is why the second fitting was a little bit stressful, as I had made adjustments that completely changed the dress and it was close to the final result.

What has been done: - The skirt / sleeves/ pearls and sequins and the back piece had been cut off. - An A- silhouette satin skirt with an elastic band was made in order to be comfortable after a proper meal or to fit well even when few pounds are gained or lost. - T-shirt sleeves made from the same fabric to match with the skirt and bring the simple and elegant touch to the dress - Still no decision had been made on what to do with the back side. As the idea was to create a backless dress that would look better without a bra. However it was not an option for my friend, that is why this one was still an issue.

Первая примерка была очень интересной, так как, купив платье в винтажном магазине, в котором не было примерочных, мы даже и не представляли, как платье ляжет по фигуре и понравится ли вообще. Так и получилось, платье было красиво на вешалке, но как только она его надела, оно было не много маловато, слишком длинное и помпезное. Точнее сказать, совершено не то, что мы хотели. You can buy tickets online Avoiding a huge line outside the museum. when it’s freezing cold in Paris that’s the best option. I had to wait 30 😬minutes to get inside

Other than creating new clothes I love to upcycle those that I don’t wear ! if you are tired of an item in your wardrobe why not turn into a new one. You can add an embroidery, add an extra fabric, tie dye or cut in piecessss.
I was tired of a basic denim jacket and my scissors made me cut it in half😊 Oops...  ____________________________

Я люблю не только шить новые наряды, но и переделывать те, которые завалялись у меня в гардеробе. Если вам надоела какая-то вещь, почему бы ее не переделать. Добавить вышивку или ткань, покрасить в технике тай-дай или порезать на кусочки.
Вот такая участь и постигла этот базовый жакет из денима. Раз два и готово…. Зато теперь я тащусь от него ещё больше.🙃 Юхууууу!

A part créer de nouveaux vêtements, j'adore recycler ceux que je porte très peu! si vous avez marre d'un article dans votre garde-robe, pourquoi ne pas le transformer. Vous pouvez ajouter une broderie, ajouter un tissu supplémentaire, réaliser tie & dye ou couper le en morceau.
C’est ce que j’ai fait 😊 car j’aimais plus ma veste et mes ciseaux m'ont fait la couper ... Oups ... la elle est trop stylée, j’adore !🙃✌️

“The Azzedine Alaïa Association was holding an exhibition in Paris entitled “L’alchemie secrete dune collection”, centered on the designer’s 1992 collection inspired by Madame de Pompadour.  Azzedine Alaïa’s fascination with Madame de Pompadour was partly due to the discovery he made when he bought and renovated the building at 18, rue de la Verrerie, Paris, in 1987. It was there in fact that the young Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, the future Marquise de Pompadour and mistress of Louis XV, was schooled in the arts necessary to forge ahead at the royal court.  The 1992 collection incorporated elements reminiscent of XVIII century gowns and corsets, all in delicate “broderie anglaise”, masculine fashion lines also appeared in short jackets and long sleeves, as wells redingotes and light coats.
