DENIM, THROUGH A DIFFERENT LENS.

An original image created in the HIGH design studio becomes an all-over print, transforming familiar denim details into an unexpected graphic composition.

Reinterpreted across a shirt, knitwear and trousers, the print plays with perception, creating a dialogue between image, texture and material.

We are delighted to announce Line Maria le Fevre as the winner of the 2026 HIGH Prize for Creative Excellence, presented in partnership with the Royal College of Art, London.

Drawing on her Danish heritage and the female figures of Norse mythology, Line Maria explores themes of transformation through sculpture, material experimentation and storytelling.

Her practice moves between traditional textile techniques and three-dimensional construction, combining natural fibres with materials such as wood, metal and concrete.

“Making and materials, however, will always remain at the centre of my practice.”

Through her work, Line Maria reveals how craftsmanship, artistic research and the behaviour of materials can give shape to new forms of expression.
