TRICOT STORY w/ Pierre-Elie de Pibrac
French photographer and visual artist, born in Paris in 1983.

Pierre-Elie lives in a country for 8 months before photographing its people. With Olivia, his wife with whom he works, and their three children.

As a family, they travel more than 20,000 kilometers across each country: Japan, Cuba, and Israel. An anthropological trilogy in progress.

In the laboratory, fifteen years of four-handed work with Thomas Consani Silver prints. The red light. The paper in the bath. The image appearing slowly. At the end of each project, a book.

Warmer days call for lighter cashmere.

Our Petit Polo is made for the first real taste of summer — soft on the skin, effortless in attitude, easy from morning to late evening.

PEP TALK w/ María Trajtenberg A fashion producer and photographer, originally from Uruguay, she’s been living in Paris for four years — the city she now calls home.

Five spontaneous questions for the people who inspire us.

If a friend had to introduce you, what would she say first?
— I actually asked my best friend this, and she said I’m poised, warm, but mysterious at the same time.

Who catches your eye in a crowd?
— Eye contact. There’s something honest about it; you can feel someone’s energy in a second.

What’s the first thing you do when you get home at night?
— I take off my shoes, put on some music, and have a cigarette.

The best advice you’ve ever been given?
— Not to change who I am to fit in anywhere. The right people will always find you.

The last 3 times you wore your Tricot?
— I just came back from Barcelona, and it was the only sweater I brought, so I ended up wearing it
every day for three days. It was fun styling it differently each time.

TRICOT STORY w/
Painter from the Netherlands, now based in Paris, in residence at

Renske works with oil paint. Sharp, precise, almost tactile. She focuses on fragments, an object, a hand, a quiet detail, and brings them into the light. No faces, no staging. A presence, that’s all.

Her current series turns suitcases into portraits. Folded clothes, a book, a mirror, the things one chooses to carry. Everything that tells who we are without having to show a face. A natural echo of what Tricot stands for.

We gave her carte blanche. She naturally chose the red polo, our signature piece, and translated it into paint, on ceramic. A dialogue of gazes between knitwear, painting and sculpture.
