How to move to circular design

Many brands still work in a linear way of developing products.
Design → produce → sell → forget.

And yes, we understand you want beautiful products. You can have that. One include the other.

Often brands use “eco” textiles, but still stay in the same old system.
That is linear thinking.

Circular design starts earlier in the process.

If you want reuse, resale and remake to work, materials must be durable and strong.
The shift is simple.

Linear model: grow by producing more and more new products.
Circular model: grow by keeping materials in use as long as possible, creating new value from the same resources, and reducing waste.

This also means new revenue streams and design based on real lifecycle data.
Most designers are not trained to think this way.

If you and your team are still designing for a linear system, it might be time to explore how to make the shift.
