I finished this jacket today. It’s made from vintage indigo scarves and the leftover pieces I kept after cutting some of my kimonos. Small fragments that were simply too beautiful to throw away.
I stitched them by hand, letting the composition grow naturally rather than following a plan.
Naturally indigo dyed fabrics, hand stitching, sashiko-inspired mending, running stitch, straight stitch, … and countless hours of patient work

It’s always a joy meeting customers, but today was all about meaningful connections.

From the studio today…

Building Blue Lindigo has taught me that the things take time.
Most days, in the morning, it’s just me in the studio, looking for old textiles, working with indigo, repairing, stitching, trying new ideas, and letting each jacket find its own identity.

There’s no rush. Every piece is made differently, and that’s exactly what I love about it. The imperfections, the unexpected details, the stories already woven into the fabric… and the new ones waiting to be written. 📝

Thank you for being here and for supporting appreciating this slower way of making clothes. Every message, every conversation, every jacket that finds a new home reminds me why I started this journey. ✨
