Iron Sakura - Look 20
For this piece - we explored material not only for what it is, but for what it can become. This elongated fourreau gown is cut in liquid faille, deliberately worked on its reverse side. By turning the textile inside out, its usual luminosity gives way to a quieter, more restrained surface, while preserving the fluidity and natural spring of the fabric.
The purity of the column is interrupted at the wrists by sculptural volumes, engineered from the same liquid faille and gathered into controlled folds. A high neckline and precisely constructed bodice maintain the severity of the line, allowing proportion and textile to become the ornament. The reverse of the fabric becomes its new face.
