Lena Erziak

Lena Erziak I want a man that is like a purse; looks good on your arm, carries your things, and hopefully matches your shoes.

Lena Erziak handbags are characterized by a timeless sophistication and elegance. Sisters Leona and Hasna have created their handbags, for the discerning woman who wants something different, yet understated, chic and truly one of a kind. As little girls, growing up in a multi-cultural Belgian-Moroccan family of artists, sisters Leona and Hasna Erziak always dreamed of starting their own handbag li

ne. After their experiences in styling French celebrities, decorating Riads in Marrakech, and traveling around the world, they have finally realized this ambition. Leona and Hasna have unveiled their new line, Lena Erziak. Their handbags are a true representation of the sister’s creative flair and unique visions. The bags are all handmade in Italy, of the finest materials, and constructed by the most talented artisans Florence has to offer. Marked by the signature tassel, each bag was designed with attention to both the interior and exterior finishing, making this a refined line of accessories.

Iron Sakura - Look 20
For this piece - we explored material not only for what it is, but for what it can become. This elongated fourreau gown is cut in liquid faille, deliberately worked on its reverse side. By turning the textile inside out, its usual luminosity gives way to a quieter, more restrained surface, while preserving the fluidity and natural spring of the fabric.
The purity of the column is interrupted at the wrists by sculptural volumes, engineered from the same liquid faille and gathered into controlled folds. A high neckline and precisely constructed bodice maintain the severity of the line, allowing proportion and textile to become the ornament. The reverse of the fabric becomes its new face.

Melancholia - Look 20
For this piece we reduced the language of tailoring to line, proportion and absence.
Conceived as a single structured fourreau gown, the silhouette borrows the codes of tailoring and integrates them directly into the construction of the dress. Defined shoulders, a precisely shaped waist and an open centre create a controlled architecture around the body. The fourreau line continues uninterrupted from the hips to the floor, maintaining the discipline and precision of the upper construction throughout the silhouette.

Hollywood - Look 7
The Hollywood Collection explores glamour trought the old Hollywood Era. Crafted from heritage silk taffeta, the silhouette plays with the contrast between the fabric’s structured character and areas of near-weightless transparency. Sheer panels are integrated into the construction and punctuated with intricate hand embroidery, allowing embellishment to appear suspended directly against the body.
The taffeta gives definition and volume to the silhouette; transparency interrupts its solidity; embroidery brings light and detail to the surface.

Hollywood - Look 14
The Hollywood Collection explores glamour through scale, movement and the construction of an image. Cut in violet heritage silk taffeta, the dress and its monumental cape are conceived as one continuous couture construction. Rather than being layered over the look, the cape is integrated directly into the garment, expanding from the upper silhouette into sweeping volumes and an elongated train.
The crisp character of silk taffeta allows those proportions to hold their shape while responding dramatically to movement. At the centre, a short skirt is built through a dense feather composition, individually worked and layered to create a softer, tactile volume against the architecture of the taffeta.
Two materials are treated according to their opposing qualities: taffeta for structure and amplitude; feathers for texture and movement.

Iron Sakura -Look 10
Emerald silk satin gown built upon a constructed body, establishing the structure beneath the fluidity of the silhouette. Precise draping and gathered lines sculpt the satin around the body before releasing into an elongated line. A monumental cape wraps across the shoulders and around the neck, then opens into sweeping panels of silk satin, extending the silhouette through movement and scale. The composition is completed by an oversized circular hat, creating a continuous dialogue between the geometry above the body and the fluidity surrounding it. Designed by Leona Erziak.

Modern Muse - Look 16
Cut in silk voile, the gown follows the body through transparency, punctuated by hand-worked embroidered motifs across the silhouette.
The monumental ruffled construction surrounding the neck, shoulders and arms required precise internal engineering to hold its volume and position while preserving the apparent weightlessness of the silk. Structure is deliberately concealed, leaving only movement and proportion visible.
Lightness, engineered.

Modern Muse - Look 13
Silk taffeton gown constructed over an internal corset, creating the architecture beneath an otherwise remarkably light silhouette. Lighter and more supple than traditional taffeta, the silk taffeton is entrusted to a maître plisseur, who permanently pleats the textile before its construction in the atelier. Its lightness allows the pleats to retain their definition without weighing down the movement of the garment.
Across the corseted bodice, the pleating converges to shape the off-the-shoulder décolleté, then gathers, releases and changes direction through the skirt before unfolding into an elongated train.
A dialogue between the discipline of the pleat and the lightness of the textile.

Iron Sakura - Look 19
Fourreau gown in silk moiré, cut to preserve the continuous movement of the fabric’s characteristic watered surface. The bodice introduces silk mousseline, bringing transparency and lightness to the construction. A sculptural rooster-feather composition frames the bodice, with the feathers worked through two distinct treatments: densely layered to build volume, then individually shaped and positioned to create a different texture and movement. Silk moiré, silk mousseline and plumasserie brought together through contrasting expressions of structure, transparency and movement. Designed by Leona Erziak.

Melancholia -Look 16
Chantilly lace skirt and corset constructed through transparency and line. The floral lace is shaped close to the body, extending into an elongated train, while a sculptural lace construction at the shoulder interrupts the fluidity of the silhouette. The contrast between the delicacy of Chantilly lace and precision required to give it structure lies at the heart of the piece. Designed by Leona Erziak
