This is Minka – the inspiration behind my latest capsule collection ❤
She is a friend, a fellow designer and a mum too. She is a visionary, a businesswoman and she is busy! When I was sketching the boot and imagining her wearing them, I wanted to be sure that she would be able to comfortably run around town in them but that they would also highlight the flair that radiates from her 💥
Minka, like most women, has many facets to her character so I had fun designing different styles for different moods. Sequined, buckled , snakeskin, black, blue or green….I love them all.

Oh how I love this photo! 😍
That smile on Mari Ángeles, as she paints the leather edging on a pair of Blondie boots like an artist in her studio, gets me every time.💫
My shoes are produced in Elda, a city made famous by the leatherwork and cobblery that began there in the 18th Century and it’s that heritage and craftmanship that brought me to the small family run manufacturer I work so closely with.
But it’s not just that… I am lucky enough to work with a team that is happy to produce limited collections, using only the finest materials in an environment that is filled with love, respect and an unrivalled eye for detail.

What a tough few month it’s been…but last night when I heard that I could open the boutique again on Saturday after this second-round confinement here in Paris, I’m feeling like the grey skies are making way for the sunshine 🌞
I have to admit it’s been a real challenge with both sales and production heavily impacted and for a moment there I feared that eight years of investing my heart and soul into my small business wouldn’t be enough to save it. I've been through it all – fear, vulnerability, heartbreak.
But today,  I’ve never felt more passionate !!! ❤
What we all need and what I will continue to strive for,  is that extra touch of sparkle in our lives 💫💫💫
