Tradition since 1774. The company’s historic roots can be traced as far back as 1774. BIRKENSTOCK became a global player by the late 1970s.

BIRKENSTOCK used the term ‘footbed’ as far back as the 1930s, helping to shape the way it is used today. Manufactured in Germany, the sandals are sold in 90 countries on all five continents. In addition to the legendary sandals, BIRKENSTOCK also has a growing range of closed-toe, children’s, and work shoes as well as specialist products for orthopedic retailers. The Group is headquartered in Neust

adt (Wied). BIRKENSTOCK is represented at nine locations in Germany. The concern also operates its own sales offices in the USA, Brazil, and Hong Kong.

At the center of the project are three BIRKENSTOCK models, resulting in two new silhouettes. Multidimensional design, reflecting sacai’s signature approach to hybridization and structural experimentation. The runway also debuted the collaborative bag, completing the BIRKENSTOCK x sacai collection.
American tattoo artist Dr. Woo customized a selection of footwear and one bag in his signature style.

IN FULL BLOOM at BIRKENSTOCK Paris

We set up a flower bar at the Rue des Archives store in Paris last weekend to celebrate our Spring Pack collection, and we are doing it all over again this coming Friday and Saturday, May 22nd and 23rd. If you drop by and purchase a pair of our featured styles – Florida or Gizeh Flowers, you will get a free custom bouquet to take home.

For the first day, we even had - whom you might recognize from our campaign - in the shop making the bouquets herself. Come through this weekend to check it out and grab yours.
