The AW2425 collection “Snail Trail”, took inspiration from and played around the Snail as a symbol. One of these symbolics is the trail that a snail produces, making it possible to track it’s past and look back. We believe it would be good if people looked more towards the effects of their actions, the resources used for the world, what we leave behind for the next generation, but also the interaction between each other as humans.
On that note, the snail also stands for all sexes in one – hermaphrodites – and how they attack each other with love darts during forplay, a powerful symbol in the current world’s position of war and power abuse.
Reflecting this to the current fashion system, we would like to make a suggestion for the issue of Mens- and Womensweek .. we believe this system is outdated, therefor we would like to introduce Fansweek .. as this is the common factor in those wearing (and buying) your clothes , they are fans .. and that is what matters !
