Some of the loveliest things you can bring home from a summer in Paris don't come from a landmark gift shop. They come from a small door on the rue Notre-Dame-des-Champs, a few steps from the Luxembourg garden: where our boutique, L'Île aux Fées, has kept the same promise for years: a hand-smocked dress, made entirely by hand, made to be kept.
This summer, we welcome families from all over the world the way we always have : with time, with warmth, and often with a little welcome sign on the door bearing a child's name.
