About myself
I am Diana, a silk painter and silk flower creator, I was born in Lithuania. My experience as a silk painter started in 2007 when the first time I tried to paint on silk on my own. It was very interesting to see what was possible to do on silk. I started looking where I could get more knowledge about it. I met my silk teacher. She had very limited time capability to teach me, so I had

a very good opportunity to learn by myself by exploring, experimenting with different techniques and ways to paint on the silk, and getting a very different colour, mood, and view effects. I already have learned many different silk painting techniques, but I am still looking for new opportunities in this art. A few years ago I started to create silk flower accessories and interior elements. Each petal is made from specially treated natural Japanese silk, I cut each petal and leaves by hand, apply mixed colours and wait till it will dry. After I do shape with special hot tools and after I combine together into a while beautiful flower. I finished the young lawyer profession in Kaunas College and I am a nails Master Technician, I have 20 years of work experience. But my biggest passion, which I love and like most, is silk painting. It's like meditation for me. Still discovering new features and techniques - I just fell in love with it. With the best wishes,
