So it has been a WHILE since I have introduced myself on here and with lots of lovely new followers I always think it’s good to put a face to a name!

So here’s a lil bit about me :

I have been styling for over 12 years now! Time really flys when your having fun. I have worked with clients as young as 16 all the way up to gorgeous ladies in their 90s. Another weekend of new clients and today I had the pleasure of styling a lovely gentleman who had just celebrated a big birthday! The aim of today’s session was to be more mindful of outfit selection and feeling a little smarter day to day.

I helped him pick out some lovely capsule pieces that he can build on and he tried on some styles he hadn’t considered before - a great result!

I met a lovely new client this week for a “Wardrobe” consultation so thought I would give some insight into how these sessions work …

We started the session with a cuppa, chatting through her expectations, lifestyle, current style and what she wanted to achieve. For this lovely lady, building outfits was key as she wanted to get a better understanding of how her wardrobe could be utilized as well as in general just feeling more “elevated”.

I took her through her colours and proportions which then based how we tackled her wardrobe! Using her new found summer colour palette, I highlighted what was working for her regarding what she already had in her wardrobe. We built some new outfit combinations she hadn’t previously considered and identified some gaps too! This was a great exercise in helping her understand what she was wearing and what she wasn’t.

To follow up, I will work on a style pack which contains all of the information we chatted through during the session, her colours, trends and some new pieces what will slot right in to ensure her wardrobe is feeling fresh and elevated.

Clothes can hold so much more than fabric... they hold memories. ❤️

One of the most emotional parts of my job as a personal stylist is helping clients let go of pieces that no longer serve them.

It's rarely just about the clothes. A dress might remind you of a special holiday, a jacket of a first job, or a favourite jumper of someone you love.

During wardrobe consultations, we often find ourselves reminiscing before deciding whether it's time to say goodbye.

The lovely thing is, letting go of an item doesn't mean letting go of the memory. Those moments stay with you long after the clothes have gone.
