A lovely client of ours brought in this amazing vintage waistcoat she had won at auction and fell in love with and brought it to us in the hope we could make it fit! Well we couldn’t say no as we love it too! Turns out William Plummer dates back to the 19th century in Hastings - It’s in amazing condition and even still has the bustle pillow!!

Prep work can sometimes take just as much time as the alteration itself! for this lovely number we had to unpick, buttons, zip, lace, hook and eye, lining, tape before we can insert new panels to create the perfect fit and a new centre back for the zip to be reinserted so no one will ever know!
