Amanda Jayne Shoes is an independent shoe retailer, specialising in beautiful Italian shoes. Based in Monmouthshire, Amanda Jayne Shoes is owned and run by Amanda Knight (Mandy) and was founded in October 2012. I have a passion for shoes… particularly beautiful Italian shoes, and it was after a recent holiday to Ravello that the idea of setting up a business was borne. Seeing th

e stylish shoe boutiques, often with a shoemaker inside, offering exquisite, high quality and often hand-crafted shoes, that are even available in petite sizes (I am a size 34), just made me smile, glow inside and utter an “ooooooh”. How delightful it would be to be surrounded by beautiful Italian shoes, making people happy, and having a ball along the way! We all know we need to spoil ourselves sometimes! My wish is to provide an experience that leaves you feeling absolutely delighted, both with your purchase and with the whole shopping experience with Amanda Jayne. That’s why I will take time to get to know you personally and understand your preferences. I have been back to Italy and selected my first three manufacturers. Orders have been placed for more than 150 pairs of beautiful Italian shoes and, yes, some accompanying handbags! All my products are manufactured from start to finish in Italy mainly by family businesses that have been trading for many generations. They take great pride in their products and also go that extra mile to make their customers smile – you could say that we are match made in “shoe heaven!”

THE END OF AMANDA JAYNE’S SHOE JOURNEY

What a journey!! After 10 years of Amanda Jayne, a significant birthday and my shoe closet overflowing, I have decided that the time is now right to “hang up my boots”. Retirement now beckons and as of 30th September 2023, Amanda Jayne will close her doors.

I have had an absolute ball. It has been a wonderful journey building the Amanda Jayne brand, learning all about beautiful Italian shoes, and of course welcoming customers to our lovely boutique in the market town of Abergavenny.

I cannot thank you enough for your friendship, support and loyalty over the last ten years. It has been an absolute pleasure to share my Italian shoe passion with you. I know many of you have become “shoe converts” along the way😊 and that has made me very happy indeed!

We have a few weeks before we close the door but I do hope you will be able to call in and share a farewell glass of bubbles with me on Friday 29th or Saturday 30th September.

Also, all remaining stock is now available at 50% discount and we do have some fantastic styles available, so definitely worth a visit!
