Another day another horse wedding guest 🫶🏼
Nicky had a lot of work done on her dress as it needed a complete re fit. She looks amazing I’m sure you’ll all agree and how fab for her 4 legged family members to be there to celebrate.

Beautiful Aimee 🤍 when Aimee booked in with me she told me she would be 25 weeks pregnant on her wedding day. She had chosen a stunning gown which wasn’t your usual maternity shape wedding dress. She had bought the dress big to allow for the ever growing bump however that meant it needed a lot of attention on the bodice. As well as adding sleeves.

As a first time mum Aimee was unsure of how big and quick her bump would grow, so we made sure to allow for this by adding in extra fittings including one the week before.

She looks absolutely stunning and I wish her and her husband a lifetime of happiness with their new baby in tow 🫒

I have been very quiet on the socials recently. Work always slows down for me a little come October time, however last year we took it even slower as I had a baby at the beginning of December. Another beautiful baby boy - definitely in my boy mum era 🩵 I have of course still been working as normal (no rest for the self employed and all that) however my social media has taken a hit. Im not good at updating at the best of times let alone with this new way of juggling life. Anyway merry Christmas, happy new year and into wedding season we go.
PS. I am also moving house (and therefore work studio) on Friday so updates on new space and address to come. Don’t worry I’m not going far 🫶🏼

This diagram is slightly American however the message is still the same. Ideally you want to start looking for you prom dress anytime from now, if you are still deciding where to go, I can highly recommend Impressions in New Haw. Huge selection, from a very knowledgable and lovely lady. She will also make sure that no one from your school buys the same dress.

As for alterations, make sure you get booked in ASAP. As you can imagine we have a whole year group of girls across several schools all needing alterations done within a few weeks. This is by far my busiest time of the year. If you know you only need a bit off the length then there is no harm in booking in early and getting it out of the way. Obviously if we need to fit the dress and you are changing shape then book in around 6-8 weeks before the prom. We aim to have your dress ready around 2 weeks before the big day. The sooner you book the less likely you are to be disappointed 💃🏼🪩✨

Jasdeep is about to pop with baby number 3 and bought this stunning gold dress to wear for an event as well as for a pregnancy photoshoot. It wasn’t a maternity gown and so she purchased a couple of sizes too big, which means we had a bit of shaping to do around the bust 🤰🏽✨

Happy new year and congratulations to all of the 2024 brides 👰🏽 it’s your year; hen dos, make up, accessories, planning, meetings and marrying the love of your life 🤍

I was truly rubbish on social media last year and so my work based New Year’s resolution is to be more present on social media (easier said than done when you are the only employee sewing/posting/accounting/ quoting, renovating a house, entertaining a 2 year old wild child, dog mum, horse mum and the general household chores of motherhood 😂 but I’m determined) be prepared for lots more posts from me. BTS/ real brides/ daily work life/ gorgeous dresses/ Q&As/ top tips anf hopefully@more along the way.

Big big thank you to everyone who used me in 2023 for their alterations both big and small and a reminder that if you haven’t sent me pics then I would LOVE to see them and share them on here. I cannot wait to meet all my lovely customers for this coming year - my diary is booking up fast so please don’t leave it too late to get booked in. I have got a good feeling about this year 🫶🏼
