The best time to secure your seamstress is the exact moment when you say "YES" to the dress at your bridal boutique! Every wedding dress needs alterations - even the smallest tweaks make a massive difference in how comfortable and confident you feel on your big day.

The power of alterations 🪡

Our gorgeous bride found her dream dress "off the peg" but it needed a massive transformation. It was far too big the bodice required restructuring the lace hem was too long beads were loose and had several holes to fix.

🪡 Completely took in the bodice, shortened straps cut off front mesh added boning
🪡 Reinforced the shoulders at the back and front strengthened with matching lace
🪡 Shortened lace hem
🪡 Added bustle
🪡 Lots of hand stitching repair holes

This project required hours of precision and patience! But every stitch was worth it!

Bringing bridal vision to life ✂️🪡👌

For this beautiful dress my bride asked to line the sheer bodice. I cut new pattern pieces, stitched them together and hand stitched the lining into place - along with making a few extra tweaks for the perfect fit.
