Please sign and share this petition to make school uniform VAT free

Clothing for children aged 14 or older, or taller or larger than the average, is subject to a 20% VAT rate. This includes school uniforms. We are calling on the Government to abolish tax on school uniforms by scrapping VAT on all school-specific uniform items to bring down costs for families.

We will be delivering parcels which have been ordered to collect from school at the end of this week.

We are trying to get orders out as quickly as possible before term starts on the 5th or 6th of September. You will be notified by email when your order is at school to be collected.

Last week I sent out an email to schools explaining that we are collecting donations to be sent to Ukraine. We have collected the first donations from Altrincham CE school this morning, I would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all those who have sent things in so far 💙💛💙💛. We will keep on collecting.

WELCOME to new parents who are ordering for the first time with us.
Let me introduce ourselves. We are a small local family business who supply school uniform to local schools and we embroider for other customers too, workwear, uniforms etc. We do not have a shop for you to visit however we are always happy to chat over the phone 📞 and give advice on sizing or anything else. We started the business a while ago now when our own children were little and now they are medium sized and come and help us in the holidays. We deliver free to school during term time however this is not possible when the teachers are having a well earned rest in the holidays. So either order free to school and we will deliver there when school reopens (often a few days before actually) or pay for postage to your home address.
