1️⃣ Start with a base layer that sits close to the skin, moves moisture away and dries quickly as your day changes.

2️⃣ Add a mid layer to retain warmth. A breathable fleece works well when you’re moving, while insulated layers are useful when temperatures really drop.

3️⃣ Finish with an outer layer that protects you from wind, rain and snow.

The key is choosing layers you can add or remove as the weather and your activity level change.

Get to know the brand 1/3: why we created Arctic Eco-Sno.

When we first started our brand we thought our frustration with traditional base layers might just be personal preference.

But as the brand has grown, we’ve realised how many other people felt exactly the same way.

So many customers told us they had never really enjoyed wearing their base layers. They had just accepted the itchiness, poor fit, bulkiness, or uninspiring designs, because they thought that was just part of technical outdoor clothing.

That has only reinforced why we started.

Base layers shouldn’t be something you simply tolerate. They should be something you genuinely enjoy wearing.

Your first layer should make the day better.

While Europe is melting in the heat, Australia and NZ are getting some very welcome fresh snow ❄️

Throwback with our little avocado 🥑

There’s been a lot of thoughtful conversation lately around how we protect the places we love to explore, and it’s something we think about often too.

We’ve always believed in leaving a lighter footprint, not just through the products we create, but through ways we can give back. So we’ll keep doing our small part by choosing better materials, supporting tree planting and plastic waste clean-up projects, and encouraging our community to explore with care.

Because these are the places we hope our little one gets to love too.

We’re so excited to share that we’re expecting a little boy in October.

It’s been a busy few months BTS with new collections, new faces, and some really exciting pieces in the works, but we’ve definitely been making most of these summer days which have been perfect to test out some new hiking pieces for next season.

Our brand story…so far ❄️

We’re Josh & Morgan, the founders of Arctic Eco-Sno. We started this because we loved winter, skiing, hiking, cold days in the mountains, but never loved the layer closest to our skin, so we made the base layer we always wanted to wear, because the layer closest to your skin should feel the best.
