Thereā€™s one thing you can never rely on at a childrenā€™s photoshoot and that is things going to plan and children following instruction.

We did laugh and fortunately these were just the outtakes. We got some gorgeous shots and all kids were just gorgeous.

Most people know our story but I know we always have lovely new followers.

Freya was born prematurely and in hospital for weeks. A time where I just day dreamed of a normal life where weā€™d spend Summers at the beach or shopping. Or complaining when she was pinching my skincare and make up (which is reality right now).

Iā€™ll never forget those days and never not feel so grateful that I get to have the beach days and complain at her that I have zero bobbles left for my hair or that Iā€™ve no eye lash curler! Secretly it makes me smile šŸ„°

Iā€™m 44 years young and the days of following trends are pretty much behind me. I just donā€™t get anything from it anymore.

My dopamine comes from finding (or designing!) really good quality clothing that I know I will wear over and over again. And I love to mix it up with vintage and preloved finds too! Especially a manā€™s blazer or shirt, itā€™s my thing.

So for all the other 40 something ladies, Iā€™ll keep designing and making timeless clothing that I know Iā€™ll love and hope you might love too šŸ«¶šŸ»
