Hand Linked vs. Rosso toe seam🧦
Ever wondered how we close the toes of our socks?
When our socks come off the knitting machines, the toes are still open — so every pair needs to be carefully closed before it can be finished.
🪡 Hand Linking
Our traditional method. Each individual stitch is carefully linked together by hand, creating an exceptionally smooth, flat seam across the toe. It takes skill, precision and a very good eye!
⚙️ Rosso Linking
Our Rosso machine closes the toe much more quickly, creating a neat and secure seam. It’s ideal for styles where hand linking isn’t required, while still giving a comfortable, beautifully finished result.
